I’m Nitesh Shrivastav, a freelance full-stack developer. For the last seven years I’ve been taking products from a fuzzy idea to something real, fast and reliable in production — owning the work across the interface, the Laravel API, the database and the way it’s shipped to AWS.

I care less about any single technology and more about outcomes: the checkout that converts, the dashboard a team actually trusts, the codebase your engineers can still maintain after I’m gone. I measure before I build, ship in increments you can see, and write down the tradeoffs so nothing is a surprise.

I work best with founders and small teams who want a partner that can hold the whole picture — and who’d rather see value every week than wait for a big reveal at the end.

The journey

Seven+ years of shipping, end to end.

  1. Began learning web technologies and building small projects — laid the foundation for full-stack development.

  2. Joined small teams as a frontend developer, turning designs into responsive, accessible interfaces and learning agile delivery.

  3. Designed, built and deployed a full product solo — frontend, Laravel API, database and deployment — and had real users in production.

  4. Focused on production Laravel/PHP backends and AWS infrastructure — the backend-and-DevOps core of how I build today.

  5. Product agency

    Led a small engineering pod delivering client web apps with Laravel and React; introduced clean APIs and a shared component system.

  6. Independent

    Left agency work to freelance full-time, owning delivery across backend, frontend, data and cloud for clients.

  7. Built production systems for clients — a UK property & lease management platform in Laravel and a customised Django HR/ERP — owning backend, data and deployment.

  8. Independent

    Shipped a Next.js + Prisma travel platform with a custom CMS, and built a self-hosted Ollama assistant that turns natural language into safe SQL over a client database.

  9. Independent

    Operating a multi-tenant insurance CRM on AWS ECS, and building a polyglot Go/Node microservice backend on GCP for an Instagram-style events platform.
